In 1996, I watched a movie about a young pilot who was flying a Cessna and got lost somewhere on the ocean. There was a Boeing passing at higher altitude and heard his "MayDay" call. The boeing pilot tried to help him follow the Boeing route by dumping gasoline. This is what I recall.
2nd Movie I heard of but I have never seen is about a Canadian airplane that was heading North. It crashed somewhere and the crew I believe managed to survive"
If anybody knows the names of those two movies, please provide it here.
