Aviation History Book on the RCAF Recently Released

Here's a published tale that is now being critically discussed in flying circles in the USA, England, Australia and the Netherlands.
The title of the book is "Artillery Flyers at War - A History of the 664, 665 and 666 Air Observation Post Squadrons of the Royal Canadian Air Force," by Darrell Knight. The 484-page history was published by Merriam Press, Vermont, USA, and has been slowly making its presence known world-wide.
This little-known history discusses the decision by powers of the day to unify artillery and air force types (in the final months of World War Two) to form the three 'Six Hundred Series' squadrons of the RCAF, utilizing the venerable Taylorcraft Auster V as the battle-wagon of choice for the British and Commonwealth AOP. The book is a good read, very informative and with many characters including 'Star Trek Scotty' (James Doohan), who was one of the pilots in No. 666 Squadron RCAF.
