CBC News
Quebec police say a helicopter has crashed north of Sept-Iles with three passengers and the pilot aboard.

It's not known yet if those on board survived.

The crash occurred Tuesday afternoon in a remote area about eight kilometres north of where the Moisie and Nipissis Rivers meet, police said.

Investigators are on their way to the scene.

It's about 50 miles north of here, in the Moisie canyon, at the junction of the Moisie and Nipissis rivers. A local company, nobody is saying too much, just that there were 4 SOB.

Ok stl, one of their engineers used to work for me and a friend used to fly for the company before he retired. I'll ask around and keep you advised.

(A google translation)
SEPT-ISLES - A helicopter crashed near Sept-Iles. The aircraft had four people on board, or the pilot and three passengers.
ON VIDEO:
Explanations

The crash reportedly occurred in a wooded area, difficult of access, about ten miles from the confluence of rivers and Moisie Nipissis, a hundred kilometers north of Sept-Iles.

In LCN, Patrick Lowe, spokesman for the Surete du Quebec, said the bodies were repatriated to the Sept-Iles, where they will be transported to the hospital to confirm their deaths. "We talk to four deaths allegedly at the moment," said Patrick Lowe. "It is too early to determine the causes of the accident," he added.

According to a statement issued by the Bureau of Transportation Safety, the accident occurred around noon.

It was workers who went on a site accessible only by air.
