Hi All,

I am a professor and aviation researcher within the Commercial Aviation Management program at Western and was hoping for some help with a research project I am working on in partnership with Seneca College. I have developed a pilot survey and am hoping to reach a lot of pilots from different sectors of the aviation industry across Canada. I thought that AvCanada would be a great way to reach pilots. The pilot survey website is:

The survey asks pilots to describe a scenario they have encountered during the course of their flight experience, which challenged them to use “non-technical” skills and think creatively to solve a problem. The survey takes an average of about 15-20 minutes and all who participate will be entered into a draw to win $500. The survey is geared towards pilots who have already achieved a commercial pilot’s license.

If you would consider forwarding this website to any pilots in your network it would be greatly appreciated! We are hoping to receive 300-400 responses, but I will need a lot of help to reach this target.
