PA31 AFM/POH

Post by Nark »

Anyone have an electronic version of it?

I've found a website that requires a membership in order to download it, and I don't really feel like paying for that.
I'm not adverse to paying for PDF, but all websites I've found are mail-order for the paper version.

FYI there are considerable differences between the 300-310-325-350 Ho's and between early and late models. Major variations include
-fuel system
-flap actuating system, flap travel, and asymetry protection
-gear and flap speeds
-nose gear turning limits
-all the V speeds
-switch and annunciator panel layout
-and many other subtle but important differences

Any POH will give you the basics but you will need the model and year specific POH eventually.

Here's your PDF: Keep it above blue line, below red line and don't hit the tail.

best advice yet, thanks. Along the lines of, remember to put the gear down. I managed to avoid dropping the tail in a Cherokee and 206, so I'm on my way in life.

I'm in the hotel room bored out of my mind. I don't start groundschool for another few days, and didn't have access to a POH. Thanks for all the responses. I managed to grab a few from some forums members, thanks again.

Page one of the POH says:

- This airplane was designed to spend most of the time in the hangar.

Page two:

- When this airplane is not in a Hangar, it is sitting outside waiting it's turn for maintenance.

Page three:

- When this airplane is not outside waiting it's turn for maintenance, it's "stored" behind the hangar being stripped for parts..

good luck to all those who are really interested in learning about this plane.

I would also suggest you search for the thread "PA31-350 Ground School" in the training forum. it has some excellent posts and a link to a free and very comprehensive Navajo Power Point ground school presentation

Sorry guys, through a series of misfortunes the POH was wiped from my hard drive.

I got a slightly used E-170 if you want? It's about the same...

Thank you Krimson for the Chieftain (PA31-350) POH.

For another request, can someone share the POH of Piper PA31-310 Navajo?
If you have it, kindly PM me and it would be very much appreciated.

Cheers! :D

Which model? There's the original, a B model that goes until 1978ish, then a C model that is from 1979ish onward. Also it's a PA31, some people get angry when they hear the -310 misnomer.

The B or C model will be alright for me habs.fan.
The -310 is the term (unofficial) for the initial production version of the PA31.

Thanks.
