Swanberg Air hiring
Heard from a buddy there that the ad is just a resume grab. The position has already been filled by a friend of the CP.

I heard they have a Salary sharing program you pay half your salary and they pay you the other half.
Re: Swanberg Air hiring
That's quite common in this industry. And in this case it's probably a favour!

Schedule is M-F flying long days, pay is good considering the industry, 36K fo and I think around 70K cpt. The J31 PPC is done in the sim, and I believe they do up a 2 year promissory note for around 20K. No rampie program there that Im aware of. Good chief pilot, good ops manager, owner's....no comment
Re: Swanberg Air hiring
Sounds close, but no dice:
Captain Salary: somewhere between $60,000-$70,000
First Officer Salary: $36,000
Bond: $12,000, 2-year on BA31
Training: In the past, all pilots were trained each year in a simulator. As of of rather recently, first officers are trained in the aircraft and captains are sent to sim.
Schedule: -Fall/Winter/Spring: Monday- Friday with weekends off
-Summer: 10 days on, 4 days off (4 day weekend, every second weekend) (NOTE: usually, not always)
-Work days vary from very long (14hr) to short (6 hr)
Extra: Depending on the base to which you are assigned (Grande Prairie vs. Calgary) you may fly a lot (80-100 hrs a month) or not a lot (30-50 hrs a month)
Extra #2: You get an extra $500/year for the unfortunate case of living in boring, old Grande Prairie
Extra #3: $50/month for cell phone allowance

Re: Swanberg Air hiring
Thanks p73 for clarification
wow 20K over 2 years sounds so unreasonable for a J31 PPC, 12K is more sensable.
How are the working conditions in general? good company to work for?
