Edo 2790
I have set of Edo 2790’s installed and we are having a bow wheel shimmy issue.
I have had the nose wheel assembly rebuilt, the tire pressure is good and everything seems tight.
If anyone has any ideas of what I could check it would be appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Edo 2790
Try swapping the nose gear tyres from side to side. If the problem follows the tyre than there is your problem, if not it is the shimmy dampener.
Re: Edo 2790
At some points there was a Wheel shaft Sb notes. On ours we had the shaft replaced because of Shimmy.

Dampers are probably full of air, even after a "rebuild" most guys don't get all the air out.
The struts could be low on fluid, or air, and that can cause a problem.
Wheel bearings can be shot, and cause shimmy.
Wheel can be only filled half way with grease, throwing out the balance.
Double check that the steering castors are set to the proper tension, that is usually the main cause.

We're all here, because we're not all there.
