Surprised no one else posted this.
There are new hire ground schools starting Nov15 and Dec06. Calls have gone out offering either date . I doubt they have completed the calls so don't panic if you are waiting.

Air Canada is notorious for being very slow to let you know if you are hired.. (Up to 3 or 4 months in some cases)

Latest rumour is that there will be a need for hiring on the next equipment bid (late November/early December). Up to 200 may be needed.
