Lifestyle over tin... If you're a west coaster you wouldn't last a week in YTH without killing yourself! Mind you, pay is another consideration... But how much is your sanity worth?

What's your end goal? I'd think that the 'heavy' 705 time (+ Sim etc..) at CA on the ATR would be better than the 1900C at Pasco, if you were off to AC or WJ, say...
In my experience, Pasco is notorious for laying off guys at the end of the summer - can/will you survive that layoff?

If you are from the Coast, it will be a tough decision - especially as we roll into spring. OTOH, VR will always be there, as will your friends and family; the opportunity to quickly advance your career may not be.. On yet another hand, Pasco might well be a good place to hang your hat long-term (what are the pension and other benefits like?)

No retirement plan with pasco. Extended medical and limited travel benefits. The passes beyond pasco don't open up till you're past 1 year probation.... But pile it, you already know my opinion... Good luck!

1900 left seat. The 1900 left seat will lead into left seat on the Saab and then you don't have to move.

Thanks everyone for the input, it's much appreciated! I've thought it over long and hard (that's what she said) for the last 24 hours and I've choosen Pasco. Someone's going to be very happy with Calm Air :)

Careful saying that. I used to believe the same thing, chased jobs all over the place. My next trip home was to bury a close family member who died rather unexpectedly.

How'd that "next up for the left seat" work out for you?
