This guy lucky or what!!!!

Americans paid half a million dollars to have this guy kidnapped!!!, and tortured.
The government has 60 days to decide whether it wants to appeal to the Supreme Court of Canada, said Edney, adding that Khadr was happy with Friday's decision.

But the lawyer noted the government appealed to the Supreme Court of Canada twice in the case of Abdullah's younger brother Omar, who is serving time at Guantanamo Bay for war crimes.

The Khadrs are the sons of the late Ahmad Said Khadr, who was closely associated with Osama bin Laden and allegedly raised money for al-Qaida.

The U.S. paid Pakistani intelligence agents $500,000 in October 2004 to kidnap Khadr. He was initially prevented from speaking to consular officials and beaten until he co-operated with Pakistani intelligence.

So, I'm guessing he gave up the location of the Paki safe house........

Maybe I am missing something here but something doesn't seem to sit right here. If the Khadrs are alledged to have conspired in terrorist activities against the United States and her allies then Canada should extradite these guys. Then let the US court system deal with it. If they are innocent then they are released. If they are guilty, hang em from the closest available tree. Canada has an agreement with the US for suspected criminal extradictions. This should not be any different.
