QA Audit

Post by Beaver Driver »

Does anyone know what the going rate for an external QA Audit would be on a small AMO? I don't know what would be used to determin the "size" of the AMO, 4 employees, maybe 4 Commercial airplanes.

Any input would be apreciated. Thanks

Kind of depends on the findings. Just like a total bill for an annual would depend on the snags. Follow-ups can be costly. Is it an initial audit or subsequent? Is the audit just for the AMO (573) or also the air operator? If so what type of aircraft, and what do they do? flight training? charter?
I would gues that an audit that size should take about 60-80 man hrs. I would guess about 3-5 thousand bucks
is my estimate....but more info is required. Are you looking for someone?

If this is your first audit and you do not have an audit procedures manual, training manual, MCM and\or MPM, and solid record keeping procedures...it will be much much more work which = much more $
