MET books?
Im looking for some good suggestions for books on aviation Meteorology. Ive got FTGU, commercial cul hanes (junk) and the sharper edge but It's still the section I'm struggling with the most. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks guys.

Re: MET books?
Have you looked at the Air Command Weather Manual. If you are savvy you can probably download it for free somewhere. The thing is older than dirt.
Also, don't forget to get 2011 update....that I know you can download for free.
Edit: Buddy above beat me to it.
But here it is for free
http://instruction.webs.com/resources.htm I think it is missing chapter one.
And here is the 2011 update
http://www.icpschool.ca/Downloads/2011E ... w_2011.pdf
This is excellent for learning to decode metars, tafs, and other met products.

Re: MET books?
A big +1 for the "Aviation Weather" published by Jeppesen!
Re: MET books?
I know it is a long shot, since this thread is so old, but does anyone know if the 2011 update is still available? The link provided above is now dead.
Is chapter 1 just an introductory chapter? I was thinking that's why it was not included in the BDA link.
Thanks in advance.
