A forgotten runway
Just a long shot here. I was going through my old pictures and, well. does anybody recognize this runway? I think it is Faro Yukon.
I was there in the mid 70's

Re: A forgotten runway
I don't think its Faro, the hills are too close. Could it be Finlayson Lake? Its overgrown now but the terrain looks similar.

Thanks Redneck, I don't remember landing at finlayson, But I've landed at a lot of BC strips over the years. More than I can remember.
Thanks, Bob

Not Prairie Creek either, its a much narrower valley. It doesn't remind me of any strip in the southern Yukon or NWT. My guess is its in BC or overgrown and not used.

Rusty Springs. Maybe 90 west of Eagle Plains. Not as nice now.
