Medical placement in New License Booklet
Finally after 1.5 years got my medical back.
Now we have the new license passport booklet there
I see where they have a picture of my old medical on the left hand side of the booklet in between the alignment markers.
Underneath I see the stamp of the doctor.
On the right hand side of the booklet no alignment markers but they are on the next page on the left.
So I place this new picture on the next page on the left side where these markers are?
Or can I place it anywhere where there is some space?
I know dumb question

Congratulation!wan2fly99 wrote:Finally after 1.5 years got my medical back.
If you received a new Medical Certificate sticker, this is where it make the most sense to place it.wan2fly99 wrote: On the right hand side of the booklet no alignment markers but they are on the next page on the left.

But in case of doubt you could give TC a call.
Totally irresponsible, unnecessary, dangerous, immature and reprehensible. In other words brillant!

Ah I don't I have my license in front of me, but the descriptions on how and where to place the stickers are outlined in the booklet itself.

My experience as an ACP, who regularly has to check the Aviation document, is that it is NOT all that clear on where stickers go. For the Medical Cert place as above, for Instrument or PPC/IR renewals, contrary to what you might think the new sticker goes over top of the TC/ACP signed endorsement. You can not have a manual entered endorsement, with a 90 day expiry date, sitting beside a sticker giving a two year expiry date.DanWEC wrote:Ah I don't I have my license in front of me, but the descriptions on how and where to place the stickers are outlined in the booklet itself.

Dont put the sticker on the next available page with the marks on it. I read the instructions and did it that way and have since been told by two people I did it wrong. I was told I should have put it on the next available space below my prevoius medical sticker, ingnoring the "sticker markings" and also ingorning the printing where the doctor signs your renewals. Just find the next available empty space and stick it.
Its not the end of the world if you did it wrong.... heck we can't even agree what wrong is

Dan:
I agree with your comment about where to put the sticker.
I think that the booklet makes it very clear where to put the sticker: At the top of each of the boxes where an examiner enters a written 90 day extension, the message PUT NEXT LICENCE/PERMIT LABEL HERE appears.
Having said that, I think it would be a good idea if TC sent a little memo out to all of the people who are qualified to enter written extensions in the licence, recommending that they explain to their candidates/students where to put the sticker if it is the first time the examiner is making an entry into a virgin licence booklet.

Re: Medical placement in New License Booklet
Does it even really matter, so long as it is in the correct booklet and in the Medicals section?

called TC got a lady on the phone She said you put in the next page where it has the markers
Next time they will not issue yu a sticker it it is not a class change so the examiner just stamps your booklet.
I guess mine since it 1.5 years elapsed from 3 to a 1 to no medical.. ow back to a 3
