Sleeping Aids

Post by FL500 »

Hey all I have been wondering what people are using for sleeping aids? Seeing as how duty times could have us flying from 2300 - 0900 and then having our rest period during the day.

So what do you use and does it leave any effects around for after you wake up?

Thanks in advance for everyone's stories looking forward to reading them all.

Have a good night all :smt040

Do earplugs count as a sleep aid? If so, I use them 100% of the time.

Depending on what side of the clock I'm on, and I absolutely HAVE to sleep at a weird hour, I may supplement my earplugs with melatonin, which doesn't work for everyone, but helps me out.
