On a note along the same lines, has anyone else noticed that things like user manuals for aircraft systems are hard to come by if not impossible for many aircraft systems.
I have been trying to put together a digital package for when we hire new pilots with all the aircraft POHs, GPS Manuals, AP Manuals etc. that pertain to our aircraft and have had to do things like scan the POHs and manuals in by hand....
Things like cars and what not these sorts of documents are downloadable PDFs. Just the other day I downloaded the owner's manual for my Chevy Pickup truck. I can understand something like a POH not being downloadable to just anyone due to things like ADs etc, but an autopilot or storm scope? it can only save a company money by not having to stock as many have as many printed etc.
This is something that aircraft manufactures have to really improve!

I've generally found GPS manuals quite easily, sometimes with a free simulator. And although I only came up once, I did find all the old Century Autopilot manuals on the Century website.
I don't see why POHs should be so hard to come by...maybe there is a good reason out there.
