Workers rights have been declared null and void by this government which is only one small part of their agenda that includes election tampering, campaign funding fraud, spying on Canadians, misappropriation of public funds and misleading parliament among many, many other things. Not to mention the unbelievable arrogance to do in front of our face knowing that if they push a little farther each time we won't do anything about it. This bunch have zero respect for democracy and people's rights, and it isn't that much of a stretch to imagine them one day saying Canada cannot afford an election and the uncertainty that it would bring. History is replete with examples of that very thing happening in former democracies.

It's time Canadians woke up to what the Conservatives are doing to this country.

Believe it or not I used to vote conservative, but Harper is a ruthless ideologue who will crush anybody who doesn't align with his way of thinking. He does it to individuals, and he's doing it right now to anybody with a job working under a freely negotiated collective agreement. I don't know you, but if that includes you perhaps you should start paying attention because you may be next.

Contempt of Parliament.
Archaic crime bill discredited by even the Americans.
Spying on your hard drive.
Election fraud.
Election financing fraud.

That's just some of the stuff we know about. Can you see a trend here?

As Webster once said the problem with the Government is that they are dog eat dog fortunately the Liberals and NDP are just the opposite. The only one I agree with is the crime bill...waste of money. The Internet watch was proposed by the Liberals when they were in power. The Conservatives piss me off as well but primarily because they are taxing and spending like the Liberals.

I don't work for any of the airlines involved. I am not ALPA. I don't live near Ottawa but if I did, I'd be in. I don't like the general trend of where this is going. If I don't join in and support the effort, I can't complain down the road.

Has anyone been picketing Ratts constituency office? It's in Milton, not very far from YYZ.

I think that day is closer than you think... Many issues at stake within the Canadian pilot community. I'm not AC either.

Thanks to you, I just found out she is the elected MP in my riding and I drive by her office at least once every two weeks or so. That being said, I also found out that she is my friends cousin.

My life just got a bit scarier and sadder.

Let me know how picketing Ratt's office goes if you show up there in Uniform. One of our Jazz pilots tried to show up to a town hall meeting where Raitt was, he was in uniform and was promptly escorted off the premises by the local police before he even got in the door.

I find it hard to believe he was kicked out a town hall meeting just because he was wearing a uniform. What else was he doing or planning to do?

You just need to show up with a news camera filming.
