Good Luck

Post by BingBong »

I'm a proud member of Alpa.....but I'm an even prouder member of the brotherhood (and sisterhood) in this profession that we have all worked to hard to be a part of.

Good luck boys and girls....we are all in this mess together. I back you 100%

Cheers,

Bingbong

Good luck from another supporter.

Some PR on the pilots side would help get the info to the public.

I remember seeing a bumper sticker on a United Airlines pilots's flight bag a few years ago that read

"My boss made $14 million last year and he wants me to take a pay cut"

As a Westjet pilot for the last 12 years - and a long time conservative voter. I'm appalled by the actions of our government, your senior management, and the media spin on the current labour problems. Your pilots and engineers have 100% of my support. The very best of luck in the coming fight.

I too add my support (for what little that's worth), and sincerely hope if there is a way pilots from other professional orgs in Canada can help, you will ask.
I think it may be time for a phone call between ACPA, ALPA, and WJPA in the interest of the future of our profession.

Cheers, and HEADS HIGH!

Thanks guys.

I truly appreciate your posts, as I am certain many of my colleagues will.

I believe in this profession, and we need to make a stand at some point. Otherwise, the spiral downwards will continue indefinitely.

Encouragements like that just keeps me motivated to keep on going.

Cheers!

We're with you on this guys, as are most organized labour unions across the country and and i am sure as are most of the 60% of canadians that didnt vote for the Torries.
Aveos just locked-out 2400 of your fellow AC collegues (as they were known before 2007). I think in the interest of the canadian economy these guys should keep receiving a pay cheque, don't you think? We'll see what Lisa Raitt is going to do about it...
