A serious reply would be YES. The difference between 45 & 51 hours is VAST when it comes to the insurance companies. Most operators want 50 hours float time, so they dont have to limit you to cargo only flights to build your time. 6 extra hours would go a long ways towards the end you are seeking. My 2 cents.

At least three of those hours have to be initial company training. I'm pretty sure that two or three more hours at least of dead legs wouldn't be hard to find--especially if they want to show you the ins and out of all of their routes or if you wind up swamping to start.

Don't spend another cent and show that you know the rules for 702/703 operations.

NWO my friend, it might be a little late (late in the start of the season) to find a flying spot, but I'm sure if you pound on some doors in the Red Lake Area, you'll find something. Just remember the more isolated and less desirable the place, the more likely you will find a job. BTW Red Lake is not one of these spots. Try Weagamow (Spelling? it's been almost two years...), Sandy Lake, St. Theresa pt, Red Sucker, Slate Falls, Pickle Lake... Something will come up... most of these places you are probable better calling or emailing then trying to show up in person...
