I think this was an item of discussion on this Forum previously.
Sure, I believe it, and some of the comments made apply to Commercial Aviation in general. It would be interesting to hear how many Canadian pilots not at Westjet or Air Canada deal with the same problems (then again some of the first or second year people at Westjet and Air Canada are likely also struggling financially).

PBS Frontline documentaries are always great, this one included.
As for the contents of the documentary, the lifestyles, salaries, and working conditions these pilots have to endure are absolutely disgusting.

Yes, it would be interesting to know how many are out there. I bet there are alot more sad stories then we are hearing. My regional years have been great, I guess I have been lucky. My early bush flying days were brutal, I'm surprised I have been in this business as long as I have.
