Fishing lodge recommendations, west coast

Hi,
My father-in-law's 60th is next year and we want to go fishing on the west coast. Lodge-style with meals provided, fly-in in a seaplane would be ideal, in a turboprop ok too. I have 0.0 knowledge of this scene, and no fishing experience, pretty much the same with the rest of the group (4). I'm on point because I am an ex-seaplane pilot (12 yrs ago, Ontario). We'd be flying to YVR from Toronto, late June?
Any replies appreciated.

There's a big lodge at Hakai Pass - fly in only; April Point is accessible via Campbell River airport.. Both are very good.

Late June you are probably best to stay on Vancouver Island. Further north you may be a little early for
the runs. North includes Haa-Nee-Naa, Rivers Inlet, Hakai Pass or the Queen Charlotte Islands.

You should be also be okay at Knights Inlet on the mainland or any place south.

Not sure about how their guests arrive, no roads, but there are local float operators that could be arranged to fly you in. Walter would know best, just give them a call.

A few different places I used to fly into... What kind of experience are you looking for? Also, you looking for low, medium, or high grade operation? There's really a huge range to choose from, so it's good your doing some research..

I worked as a fishing guide for a lodge in Rivers Inlet (no longer in business). I highly recommend this area, fantastic fishing. I would recommend Duncanby Lodge, they've got great equipment and accommodation. Enjoy!
