Do people just drive with dash cams on all day?
They do catch some pretty cool things, but 99.9% of the time it's going to be just road...would be good in case someone hit you and ran, but you need a camera on every side in that case, and that's a lot of footage to erase daily..

Yes they do drive with dash-cams on all day, their insurance mandates it. We fly around with our flight data recorders on all day too.
