Road trippin to the next job
I hear you're much more likely to get hired in person then off a resume, especially if you’re a relatively low timed pilot. Fine, but how do you get to some of those airports that are just inaccessible by road, or just too far a drive out of the way to justify the trip. Do you only stick to the main paths and resort to email for everything else?

Re: Road trippin to the next job
Generally speaking, flying jobs are at the end of the road, in the middle of nowhere. If you don't want to drive there and shake hands, what separates you from the hundreds of other resumes sitting in a special folder in the company inbox?

The bigger places, (Regina, Toon town, Winnipeg and Calgary all offer opportunities as well). These maybe ramp positions, however are a step in the door. Worked for me! And that trip depending where you start from can be done in a few days.
