AME license
Hello everybody, I am going to take the AME exams. Already have necessary books and have started to study and prepare for that. Please tell me, if anybody knows, is it possible to find the sample questions for this exams? I found that for pilot license exam, but unfortunately could not find anything in this area for AME. Thank you very much.

There are a ton of sample exams around. But most are outdated. If you come across sample questions from i think 2005 and newer, they would be the ones to study.
On the exams there are a bunch of questions that you wonder 'where did they find that', and some of the questions come from sources, that you just can't get anymore.
I suggest talking to someone that has taken the Stevenson College 'ame refresher' course. Study the notes, and the slide shows and look at the 'sample question pack' (but don't only study the sample questions) that they got from the instructors, and you should do pretty good.
If I remember correctly there are 3 different exams for each 'subject exam (airframe, standard practices, and engine) of 90 questions each. (so 270 possible questions for each exam)
In all honesty that Stevenson College course, is probably well worth the money. Email them, ask when it is running again, and attend. 1 month off work, but as long as you study, and dont treat it as a big party fest, you should pass.

Why not just take the plunge and write the first exam?
One of two things will happen: pass or fail.
In either case you will know what to expect (style, depth of knowledge, etc) the next time you write the same exam or the next exam.........
The Stevenson program takes place in the spring so...........plan accordingly.

I do not judge AMEs by how well they did on their exams only on how well they do their jobs.
