The 737 crews are paid fairly. Probably one of the most effiecient crews worldwide. They earn their salary.

Correct me if I'm wrong but these wages seem to be in line with companies such as PAL, CMA, Georgian, etc. . . IMHO WS Encore won't have any problem attracting candidates. WS corporate culture and the prospect of flow through will cause many young keen pilots, who are already making these wages or lower, with SJS, "Shiny Jet Syndrome", to apply.

What is the rate for year 2 and beyond? Is 70 hrs a month realistic? I understand this is a min guarantee but is 85 hours more like it?

AC is hiring lots of younger more inexperienced pilots. In the past year I know of at least 5 former FO's of mine, 3000 hour TT range, some 705 time, but minimal or no MPIC all get hired. Unfortunately times are changing; better for some and worse for others.
