I was just wondering if anyone knows if NavCan still uses Backcheck to complete their reference checks.
Also, do they call only the reference contacts that you provide or is everything on your resume fair game?
Just wondering.

They still use BackCheck to my knowledge, and I believe they only contacted the references I listed on the backcheck form.

Above are true. Although you do sign over permission for them to contact past employers. So they are allowed to if they feel it is necessary.
