R-985 engine thread disappeared

Hi Mods...

There was a thread on the failure of a Beaver engine that I and a number of others were contributing to. A week or so ago it "vanished." When I attempted to get to it via my browser history, a message appeared that I "didn't have authority to view the thread!"

Not sure what is the issue?
