TC or CASA...dilemma

Post by EchoNovemberAlpha »

Can anyone out of international operational experience here tell me, If I (as an International student) had a choice, should I go for a TC license (CPL and MIFR) or a CASA (AUS) license (CPL & MECIR) for job opportunities in the Middle eastern countries as well as the Asian and Far East countries…understandably I would need 1000-1500 odd hrs with an ATPL for any such opportunities, but which of the two:
1. Prepares you adequately with regards quality and standards of training
2. Is more recognized (I’m not looking at producing eye popping responses, but a simple thought in the mind of the recruiter “ this guy is a 100% professional with regards to the training he’s gotten”)
3. Is more acceptable with regards conversion and relatedness (and also more convenient to convert) to the licensing authority of the said domains…

How does a JAA license go down with these countries? Is it more fancied than an FAA license ?

Thanks a ton.
