Is it true that you still have the annual Spring polar bear slaughter in Alberta? You people ought to be ashamed of yourselves!

Okay, I'll try and get us back on track. To answer your question as best I can, there is some movement out here these days. Especially Alberta. Quite a few oppurtunities there if you have a bit of time. In BC, it's always slow, although I think it has been a little better lately with CMA doing some hiring, etc. But compared with out east, I have no idea if the movement is brisk or slow. I know a couple guys who just went to Voyageur. I know the flight schools are pretty slow right now, but that's partly the time of year.

Take that for what it's worth. 8)

Movement out East?? You must be talking about everyone who moves out west for work!! Or the movement of people from thier mailbox to the bank with a pogey cheque!!! Im in NS, and the only company that i've heard of thats hiring is a certian charter outfit in YHZ that you buy your training from, then work for peanuts like a circus animal. I know of a dozen other pilots, from 200 to 1500 hours that have moved away for work!!!!! Now thats Movement!!

Sorry to sound so harsh homer, but i guess im a little unsure where the movement out east is???

Hey, I grew up in the Annapolis Valley and had to move to the 'best' coast to finally get into this gig 15 years later...and no, I'll never move back.

All of my family is still there. Unless you get on with Canjet, a cargo ., and I hear Jetsgo is openning a base there, as far as the career goes it's a nice place to visit now. :(

The east coast is a very nice place to be, people are very friendly, most towns and cities are easy to get around, have everything you'd need, and it is very beauitiful out here, any time of the year.
But if you are a pilot looking for work, you'd better have 3-4000 hours!
