Re: Provincial Airlines
It's a good stepping stone company. Schedule is ok. Anywhere from 9-12 days off a month, home most nights unless they are short crews at other bases, then you could be away from home for up to 8 nights at a time. Pay isn't great. FO's start around 34k, Capt's 59k... Bases in yyt, yyr, yhz, yul and I think they have one in the Caribbean. Hard to go captain in yyt or yyr as there isn't much turnover there.

Thanks for all the info. I subscribed to this thread because I had the same question as the above user.mr bojangles wrote:It's a good stepping stone company. Schedule is ok. Also, what planes does PAL have based in YHZ? Is it sched runs? I'm very interested in this company, sounds much better than slaving where I am...
Re: Provincial Airlines
They have some KING AIRS 350 at YHZ. One has a corporate contract. The other KING AIR does other work, I think some medevacs and maybe charters. Provincial Airways is a good job in the Maritimes, I know some guys there and once was going to apply.

Re: Provincial Airlines
I'm sure you know the difference, but for anybody else reading this please note that the company name is Provincial Airlines, not Provincial Airways. Provincial Airways is a company in Saskatchewan involved in spraying, etc.COMETer wrote:They have some KING AIRS 350 at YHZ. One has a corporate contract.
