I run an aircraft scrap yard but we do not send scrap to metal recyclers so I don't know the current value of
aluminum.
However I do know that you will not get top dollar for wings and a fuse because there are also metal parts attached
Scrap dealers have two sets of prices , dirty ( a mixture of metals) and clean ( one metal only)
You would have to remove all the metal parts from both wings and fuse to make top bucks.
We sell off our damaged parts to people that are looking for man cave items etc.
Example I sold an Ercoupe wing yesterday (for more than scrap value) to a guy that is making a man cave bar in his home.
Put your parts on KIJIJI or some similar site . You will make more money than a scrap man will give you .

Yes, I seem to remember a bar in Moncton NB that featured a Piper Tomahawk hanging from the rafters.

$0.40/lb in southern Ontario. You don't get more for the fact that it's 2024.

My local scrapper, Woznuk Brothers in Cambridge Ont, pays 50 cents per pound if the material is clean, ie no paint, steel bolts, pop rivet shanks, old rod ends and forks, clevis pins, cables. Even zinc chromate lowers the price. They want aluminum only if paying the top price.

If the material is anything but clean it drops to nearly the rate for steel, something in the range of 10-15 cents per pound.
