It was bearskins sched that starts in yqt. Sounds like either 7 pax or 7total. Not sure if its related but cochenour and balmertown are without power.

Firefighter friend was called out. 7/9 fatalities other two in hospital. Very very sad. I hope to God he's wrong.

Unconfirmed at this point but i believe its BLS311. I'm praying for all involved.

According to the website 5 dead including the pilots, 2 survivors and it was bearskin. This is terrible news and I feel for all involved

CTV news is reporting 5 confirmed fatalities and 2 injured taken to hospital.

I have friends at The Bear. My most sincere condolences to the family and friends of those affected.

A little gusty, but nothing the good folks at Bearskin aren't used to. My heart goes out to their families and friends.

Terrible news. I was checking the weather and saw the SPECI with the accident note earlier... was concerned but saw no other news, until a friend alerted me just now. Awful to hear it's Bearskin (or anyone, for that matter). Thoughts and well wishes to the survivors and all families of those involved.
