I saw on PCC that they've let people go. Anyone have any information?

I spoke to one of their captains last week while we were at the same airport coffee shop waiting on weather. He says they've laid off nearly half their crews. They've lost some of their bag runs back to Carson. The metro isn't running anymore. Not sure about the caravans. He also mentioned they are now charging a $7000 bond for PCC for right seat on the Navajo.

They never had caravans. I dont know why people think they did.
All 3 metros are parked and up for sale. (1 minus an engine) and at least 5 of the Navajo's are for sale. They lost the Bag runs back to Carson 3 or 4 months ago. They have really scaled back trying to keep afloat. Let a buch of pilots go and a few mechs as well.
Mind you - the new paint job is actually quite nice.....if they can afford to paint the rest of them.

Because they ran an Alkan Air caravan for the bag run, crewed by Alkan pilots and Orca observers while they were trying to get the Metros online.

From what I understand when Orca lost the metro contract back to Carson, Carson also picked up a good percentage of the pilots let go. The rest moved onto shinier and faster things.
