YVR IFR Employment Situation

Hello everyone,

I've been lurking around and just wanted to say that you guys are awesome. I got lots of info before applying for the IFR stream for YVR back in April. I actually think I had just missed the written test portion (Nov/Dec 2012?) at that point, but do you guys know what the situation around the area is like at the moment? I've been sitting on a green light for the post-online test portion for almost 8 months now! Any updates would be pretty nice, since I check this forum/the NavCanada website once every few days, but no news has come from the area.

Last YVR Assessment test was back in July. I wrote it. I'm currently waiting for my 2nd interview call. Fingers crossed...
Anyone got information on any upcoming course dates? This wait is killing me.

As of last week there were no IFR/VFR/FSS courses scheduled into 2014. However, that doesn't mean they won't throw together a course at the last moment.

I heard rumours of a possible IFR enroute course in the spring but it was just a very faint rumour.
