Tough week for Air Canada compared to Westjet
First Westjet has their youtube hit, then the news is reporting how two of their flight attendants saved somebody's life with an AED, a few lines down the only news Air Canada has for the week is one of their planes caught fire
Yikes..

Didn't AC just place a pretty sizable order for 109 airplanes this week, that is close to the entire fleet size of WestJet? I would say that's good news. I think the paying public would see that as positive.

This should be under Westjet, not Air Canada...and the title should read, successful week for Westjet as they give gifts and were lucky to help save one life, and in other news, Air Canada Express plane with experienced crew saved 35 passengers as the plane landed safely!
Really, really stupid post!

Early this month Westjet had a shimmy issue on takeoff... It was a tough week for Westjet two weeks ago... I guess its give and take in this battle.
Fake it till you make it.

Proof is in the pudding boys .. Our industry is swirling the toilet bowl and this is how pilots treat other pilots. We're totally f$cked if this is our future, our best and brightest. Yikes!
Good luck to everyone ... We're gonna f$cking need it.

A/C shows everyone they have competent crew who handle an Engine fire like it is routine, shows off arguably their best and newest airplane the 787, and places an order for tons of new aircraft.
Doesn't seem too tough to me

I don't work for AC but have to say this is one of the ridiculous posts in a while. And on this site there are many.

A 700% stock increase over the year...yeah that's rough.
Hey I love our WJ video but what did our stock price do?
How about we not throw stones in glass houses and just be thankful our companies are thriving.

We're all in this together!
Things are looking good for both companies. How about we make it look good for the pilot groups too?
