any help for two stellar guys?

Post by . . »

Hey everyone. Just today I found out that two of my very best friends are out of work. Both of these amazing guys have:

2000hrs
1500+ multi
500ish multi PIC
real world IFR experience, both controlled and uncontrolled
lots of gravel strip experience.
One of them has a bunch of turbine time on a Be-99
They both have current PPC's on the Navajo

This is highly out of place for me to be on here begging for hot tips for jobs. Hell, I haven't even done it while I was out of work and looking.
If anyone has any hot tips on who might be looking two hire someone with qualifications like that PM me and I'll pass the info on immediately.

Thanks

One of the posts on here indicates that Perimeter is hiring 99 guys. I know that sounds strange. Supposed to be good gig.

Well I'm amazed that the outpouring of support I've recieved in both PM, and on this thread. I've been trying to PM everyone back with a message of thanks. I'm going to be busy for the next week or so but I promise I'll get back to each and every one of you that have sent me a message.

Scabber: I would be truly shocked if there was a person out there that would say either are anything but amazing, pilots, people, friends.

I can't believe this. I used to work with these two guys they are outstanding. I am shocked. I really feel for these guys. The owners of CA are crazy to let these guys go.

M and J remember that what goes around comes around. I know you two like two scream and yell and intimidate your employees and do burn outs in your truck but I never thought you were really this dumb. Really stupid move. how many more freinds and good employees are you two idiots going to burn? I realize it sucks for the two guys involved but don't worry to much things happen for a reason and you two are better off not working for those two they are poison.

I second scabers position

Hats off to you endless for helping out your buddies, nice to see someone helping others in this business instead of the "me first" attitude!

It certainly seems impolite, indeed it seems discourteous how these 2 men were treated.

Sorry about that TL. That really does suck. I think the QT crews will have a week of mourning for you. 210 KTAS He he. On the plus side for me, I guess that means we're getting ZNS back.

See Superior Airways has a job posting for ho captain. Only a 2 month contract and they don't seem that busy but maybe they're planning on getting some work for the summer?

ps. Bede did you just learn that your company is laying off on the internet? Tell me that's not true. Discourteous.

chief, you are correct.

just shows how some owners can have a handful of gold but squeeze it so hard it turns into shit.

it's good to see the support out there for you guys, better things are on the horizon for two of the best coworkers and friends a guy could have.

These 2 guys are among the top in the industry. For relatively low timers, their model and work ethic can be emulated by ANYONE. They are indeed stellar individuals, and pilots.

There is definitely something wrong in the state of Anglia if these 2 guys are allowed to go...

On a positive note I'm so glad to hear that **** as done a complete 180 and corrected the wrongs that were done. For all of you that took time out of your day to PM, or post job tips to me: Your kindness will not be forgotten. I'll try and make time in the next few days to thank each one of you personally. It's nice to know that our community isn't quite as cut throat as it appears to be on the surface.

thanks again everyone.

****** and I did go back.

There were alot of things said from both parties that we will regret for the rest of our lives. But it is now water under the bridge. There was a change of heart and I am happy for it. Neither of us wanted to leave and deffinately not like it happened. I think now this can only make the company a better place... back to the good ol days!
With all this said, Thank you everyone for all the support, it means alot.

Clayton
