Sonic Blue lawsuit against TC dismissed
Good judgment comes from experience. Experience often comes from bad judgment.

Good on the judge.
This was one airline that needed to be shut down.

If anything, Transport should be sued for negligence for letting this operator go for so long. I was employed for nearly a year just getting their remaining (seized) fleet to basic airworthiness standards...
Geez did I say that....? Or just think it....?

Likely one of the best decisions of this judges career! Bravo! Good bye forever Regency & good riddance!
This was one scary air service (owner) in its day. +1 to Transport on this one. As ifly said, a bit late, but better late than never.
Fly safe all.

Corporate decision making accepts certain risks for profit to stay competitive.
When it is cheaper not to comply then to comply, people will take chances. The pilots take risks, making a compromise between life and livelihood, whereas managers and shareholders only have livelihood to worry about.
On the other hand, if you let things slide at your company, you may be collecting dole sooner than you think. I say thanks, Transport, keep up the good work.

This ultimately has nothing to do with TC or Sonic Blue and everything to do with the Federal Government not wanting a potentially damaging precedent set. The Feds put the "A" team of Justice lawyers on this to make sure they would win.

What I am curious about is how Gillbuddy expected to make 10 to 12 million as stated in the article? He must be a business management superstar
Drinking lots of coffee lately, at a nice safe jungle desk, wishing I were flying......
