Ornge Revisited

As I suspected it is my belief that Ornge bought the fleet of Canadian Helicopters for an undisclosed amount of money and I also suspected the fleet of aging Sikorsky's would be worthless for anyone else to potentially operate other than Canadian Helicopters. Apparently all the Sikorsky's are for sale but with timexed components or "on condition" engines making them virtually worthless as per the picture. Not only that we are storing them in a hangar at a premium buck (i suspect).

I was passing through London yesterday and saw 4 of the old birds mothballed in the corner of the Esso Hangar. It brings a lot of questions to mind. Lets start with the questions and pass them to our MPP's, the Minister of Health, the Premiere and espescially Frank Klees the PC MPP who seems to have taken on the Ornge Battle albeit somewhat unsuccessfully.

I will post my list of questions for the minister and maybe all of you can add to this and then I will send the whole thread to Frank Klees and the Minister of Health.

This is all criminal, and it was all done with your Ontario tax dollars if you happen to live here.

Here is a few of the questions I have that interest and concern me as a taxpayer. Please add your questions or insight on the matter. Lets unelect these Liberal criminals. I am guessing crimes have been committed by the dozen all the way up to the Premieres office.

How many aircraft were purchased by Ornge if you count the Augustas, the PC12's, the Sikorsky's and the Voyageur Kingairs (if they were purchased by Ornge) ?


My questions to the minister would be as follows. I don't necessarily know the
answer to these questions but I do know some of the questions to ask.

1) Why are there 4 Ornge helicopters parked in a hangar in London Ont. with
rotors and landing gear removed?
They are at Executive Aviation. The Esso fuel dealer at that location.

2) How much did we pay for these helicopters from Canadian Helicopters?

3) Where are the other 6 or 7 Sikorsky Helicopters? Are they mothballed as well.

4) Why did Ornge buy these helicopters if they were worn out, unsafe or in need
of engine or component overhaul?

5) Why are we renting expensive hangar space to store them if they are worn out, unsafe, or just worthless?

6) If they just need overhauled engines only then how come we are not getting them
overhauled and selling them?

7) Are we keeping up with the calendar maintenance schedule on these aircraft
and running the engines or pickling them as per the aircraft long term storage instructions or
are they truly just scrap and if they are just scrap why are we storing them in
an expensive hangar I ask again?

I guarantee Deb Matthews won't know any answers to those questions.

My mistake... the landing gear is there but the engines and rotors are gone. There has to be a good story there!
