Reciprocal question
Hi guys hoping someone can answer a question for me. If I'm flying with you folks as a reciprocal jump seat pilot am I allowed to check bags? Trying to get to Europe next month and I've heard both yes and no from various pilots, fa's, csa's etc. If anyone has a definite answer I'd really appreciate it. Thanks very much.

Re: Reciprocal question
I don't work there but have had reciprocals with them in the past. You can check your bags. They will get tagged with a standby baggage tag then subsequently forgotten about in the airport of departure. Don't worry though, after a few days AC will have them delivered to where ever you are.
Re: Reciprocal question
You can check bags. It's not a very good idea.
Aside from the obvious going missing problem, if the flight is full you will have to get your bag back before you can list for another flight, which will take hours.
Pack less.

Re: Reciprocal question
Just an idea, but ship a small bag separately and carry on only.
