New IPM in PDF format for free ??
Greetings!
Just as the title says... I have been looking for a free downloadable copy of the Istrument Procedures Manula but even Google can't find me one! Would anyone on here please steer me in the right direction or email me a copy?! Please!
Yes, I am too cheap to pay 90 bucks for it.
Thanks!

Transport Canada is out of the IPM business, and the 2013 version was written by an Air Canada pilot. It is an extremely thorough, up to date and useful document that he produced as a business - not charity. Spring for the $, it's worth it.

My recommendation would be to save up and buy the book.
The link above will take you the zero-cost route, and will get people the min required score on their INRAT exams.
The link below will take you the $90 route, and you’ll be much better served (if you read it, of course). As Rockie pointed out, it’s very well written by someone who cared about creating something that would give you tools to be a better pilot – not simply straight facts for you to relate. It also sounds like they plan to release an electronic version at some point.
(When I did my MIFR, the props were turning at $5/minute. Think of the book as a one-time $90 fee that may end up saving you an extra training flight somewhere along the line.)
Buy it here (for $75): http://www.aerosolutions.ca/ipm_purchase.php

Sample pages: http://www.aerosolutions.ca/assets/IPM_Sample_Page.pdfThe Instrument Procedures Manual (IPM) provides students and experienced pilots with information on today’s aircraft, satellite and ground-based instrument systems, departure, enroute and approach procedures, and air traffic control regulations. In addition, this edition of the IPM includes new chapters on pilot performance, automation and technology and international procedures. Every phase of flight, from pre-flight to landing, is discussed in terms of a safe and efficient IFR flight.
Chapter 1 Physiological Factors Related to Instrument Flight deals with the physiological effects and human factors encountered in instrument flying, including how to handle disorientation.
Chapter 2 Pilot Performance and Instrument Flight provides threat and error management techniques, as well as specific CRM skills, to assist pilots to keep IFR flying safe.
Chapter 3 Instrumentation and Navigation Systems reviews the nature and use of principal cockpit instruments, the major instrument systems on board, radio navigation systems and pilot operating techniques for this equipment.
Chapter 4 Instrument Flying Techniques details basic IFR flying from scan techniques to partial panel emergency procedures. It covers IFR radio procedures (RT) and some of the common errors in RT, as well as how to avoid them. This chapter also includes sections on flight planning and how to organize your cockpit for a safe IFR flight.
Chapter 5 Air Traffic Services outlines specific air traffic control procedures for IFR operation, from airspace through to the pilot controller interface. It also covers services provided by ATS, airspace, separation criteria and pilot-controller communications.
Chapter 6 IFR Flight Procedures deals with IFR flight rules and procedures from flight planning to the termination of the flight. IFR best practices and error management strategies are included.
Chapter 7 Automation and Technology introduces these topics with the goal of providing pilots some handy techniques to get the most from the automation and advanced technologies on their aircraft. This chapter also provides a section on pilot techniques for using GPS for IFR departure, enroute and arrivals.
Chapter 8 International Procedures is a brief overview of international IFR procedures as well as US differences from ICAO standards for pilots flying into the USA.
Chapter 9 Helicopter Instrument Flying outlines the theory and application of helicopter attitude instrument flying, including IFR departures and approaches (including Copter procedures). It covers IFR rules and procedures specific to rotary wing flying.
Appendices provide useful reference material for the IFR pilot including an index, definitions, acronyms, rules of thumb, preparing for the Instrument Flight Test, maintaining your instrument rating and useful references for IFR flying.

Re: New IPM in PDF format for free ??
I own the 2013 IPM and '97 electronic copy. My opinion is that both are good for IFR but are written differently. Other than updated information in regards to the GPS and few other things, the new IPM reads like a story book with a lot of tips/anecdotes from the author's experience. The topics flow which I find more enjoyable for reading. However as a reference material if you are searching for hard cold info I prefer the older one with the drytothepoint style.

I would suggest buying the book. I e-mailed them when the hard copy came out. They mentioned they will be releasing an electronic version... eventually.

Thanks for the replies guys... I actually thought that was an update from Transport so I figured I would read it. I fly IFR on daily basis for a living so I am not worried about learning ifr, just wanted to see if there's anything new.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.
