RCO Map

Post by ahramin »

Came across this handy little map today:

http://www.navcanada.ca/EN/products-and ... s-rco.aspx

If your VNC is anywhere close to the vintage mine are this map will save much time digging through the CFS looking for RCO frequencies. The Pacific one is quite readable printed half size 2 to a page so it fits in a kneeboard or small clipboard.

I've been making copies of that map for students for a while now, though all the FSS's are FINALLY on the proper listed frequencies on the new sectionals. That was an absolute bitch trying to raise some stations within the last couple years ago during the transition.
I still hear people on a daily basis trying to get London or Quebec radio on 126.7 however.

I have been checking it for a while and keep an updated copy in the plane. In spite of the disclaimer I use it for navigation as it is really small and handy for that :)
