How's the new hangar working out? Heard a story the STARS folks like to block in the fix wing operators.

Many line ups for ambulances? Do they transfer patients to ambulance in the hangar or out on the ramp?

Sad, if that's true, as there's two different niches at work there. Wouldn't take too any incidents of that nature before someone 'accidentally' did a run up while pointing at the offending machine. ( And I'm not suggesting that someone should do that, BTW...)

Depends on the hangar space available, there is the option to do it though

AHS must really be worried about someone hi jacking a medevac plane as it is a heavily secured fortress....I need an electronic key card to access the shitter Nice facility, however, my only other gripe is that it takes 45 minutes to get a taxi because apparently the hangar doesn't exist on the cab drivers gps'.

There is so much wrong with this place!! I thaught they may pull there crap together after a year or so but no way was I ever wrong.
You are right we can not use the stars part of the ramp. Even tho there is sometimes 8 king airs on the little ramp and starts may have one chopper out. But hey I guess they need all the room??
And you are right for some reason the door to the shitter is locked and you need a key card to open the door. Not to mention the 3 other locked doors you need to go through to even get to the shitter door.
Cabs are a big no no Alberta health want the pilot on the hanger grounds. I could continue to go on about the crap with this place is but why bother nothing gets fixed. This facility is a giant wast of money and time. I may just be pissed off for having to wait there for 5-7 hours with no food. Even tho there is suspost to be a rule of not waiting for more than 3 hours.

Why can't you share the ramp? Do these guys think they are the goverment? Park on the ramp if need be, tell them to move the AC if they like. Sounds like the place is being run by inmates. Tell them to pull up there socks or they might get the same treatment as the AB prov. crew's. At something like $40.00/ sq foot they should really learn to share!
