UK CAA Medical Examiners in Canada?

A friend is looking to renew their UK medical.
Does anyone know of any UK CAA qualified Medical Examiners anywhere in Canada?
Specifically UK CAA, but could be a Canadian aviation medical examiner that also holds UK CAA accreditation.
Any leads?
Thanks, all.

Where's Joyce?

Looking to reconnect with a long-lost friend from the late '80's from the Calgary Flying Club… Joyce.
Karen was the CFI at the time, if that helps narrow when Joyce was there.

Joyce went on to fly a DC-3 and who knows what else.

Anyone have a lead?

Many thanks,
RD.

Re: Digital logbook recommendations

I also suggest you pay for the mccPILOTLOG pro version, hands down. It's only 39 Euros for the Pro.
They have lifetime support, so this is a good deal. And I assure you their support has been excellent.
Plus they listen to, and implement suggestions!

Re: Possibly returning to Canada

Hi again, guys 'n gals. Just to clarify for those needing clarification that in the original post I made, I don't recall doing any bragging about widebodies, salaries, or anything. However, specifying what I have done helps narrow down what might be available, since most potential employers ask what...

Possibly returning to Canada

Hi all. I'm exploring returning home after a long run of it overseas. Looking especially for any employment rumours (or facts!) where an experienced management widebody captain with 15k hours, Master's, etc...might find something back home to aim towards, either in the private or public sector. Sett...

Pardon me for asking the obvious, but shouldn't the "Subject" of this thread be changed? This looked like it was going to be a "What's it like to work at Transport" thread.

Chantal - I heard "only" 150 pilots were stuck with the bond out of some 300-ish pilots.

I ALSO heard everyone got their last paycheque!

Once again, best of luck to all involved.

Those jokers...!!! GRRRR. CAN'T ANYONE with Transport or the Labour Board WITH A SET OF BALLS stop them? Bad, smelly news, that Regency.

There should be a large warning sign put on their hangar for the poor suckers that missed all the hints.

Do a search for a video-clip of an Air France '47 taking off from St. Maaaaaarten... jet-blasting a bunch of beached whales back into the surf. Funny as hell. One nasty take-off I had out of there with the usual easterly breeze was the most turbulent I have had. We must have changed a few seat cover...

Pindunder... You set the precedence - congrads. Could you share some details why TPT flip-flopped on their initial decision? That is huge. If the rules say you (not just "you" but all of us "you"'s) cannot get a pass due to where you have been, then they cannot over-turn that decision for just one o...

What ever happened to the 737 Firefighter conversion plans? When I heard about this from a friend that used to work there a few years back I thought he was full of it, but he assured me it was true...and now with Evergreen talking about going full out with the 747 conversion, it wasn't that far off....
