hiring process

HI, I have completed the hiring process with Jazz Aviation LP (Interviews, Background, Medical, and References) as an apprentice AME-M. Spoke with the Lady conducting my reference checks about a week ago to check if she had got in touch with them and all went well. I guess i am getting anxious but when should i be hearing more? So far the process has taken about 2 months. Any more information on this would be greatly appreciated.

From the time I had my medical done, till I got a call with a job offer was almost 30 days. From the time I applied, till I got hired was about 5 months... That's my story and others' may be different.

same here
i had done interview 2 weeks ago, then i got a call back for medical test, criminal, reference check and base preference in next week after the interview.

I have just gone through all the process last wed.

How long shold i wait more ?, and is there anyone who has done the process but never got an offer?

I’ve been waiting a month after medical for reference checks and whatnot. So not irregular I guess..

Did they call your references?

I think that's what took the longest with me. Tracking people down is not easy.

Hello,

Are you in the pool for AME or pilot? I am in the process for pilot.

How long after the sim did they call you for a medical?
When they called me to set up the sim they asked me if they can contact my references and when I can start.

I told them I can start immediately and I am doing my sim ride this week. Did you tell them you can start immediately?

Any info or tips would help.

yes they did. and sent me an Email that i am passed all hiring process and placed me in the hiring pool for the next ground school.

It'll come. Things move fast at Jazz. People retiring / going to AC / quitting,at a constant rate. Good luck

Maybe for really low experienced guys these days? I have about 2300 hrs all right seat multi turboprop and I am in the final selection stages (post sim eval)....

Right now they’re probably only hiring as fast they can train. For now at least.

Hiring has slowed down significantly. Initially 400 new hires expected this year, now projecting 150.

Where do you get that information from? They have been advertising 275 pilots for 2018 on Instagram and Aeroemploi job site in QC.

Also a friend of mine working there says lately it has been 1 GS a month of about 11-13 guys ramping up to 2 a month of 20 guys in the summer months.
