The Covid money printer slowly ends, now we pay.

I personally didn't see so much as a dime of covid money being handed out.
Instead kept working, and doing my own thing.
But anyone who has a brain larger than a piece mosquito poop should know that when a country prints an exorbitant amount of money, and the government tosses it around without care, that will bring massive inflation with it.
Nobody needs a university degree in economics to understand such a basic principle.
Then the masses of unemployed people ran out and financed their new toys, such as quads and RVs, using the trudeau 'free' money they got as the downpayment.
Well interest rates are going up, the gravy train is running out, and those who are deep in debt are about to feel it, and not in a good way.
Anyone who wants to open their own business, let me recommend that you open a bankruptcy company. You should do very well over the next 5 years!

About half the people here warned about it. While the other half called them graandma killers.BE02 Driver wrote: ↑Tue Jul 05, 2022 5:46 am Look like the cure will be worse than the disease after all. Geeee. Who warned us about that? Hmmmmm.
Should I ask everyone now if government did a good job with pandemic policy... Or should I wait 12 months when people start to lose their homes and unemployment takes off?
Way to dump all our eggs in the covid basket!
I'm just waiting for Trudeau to stand up and blame us. He will probably just take some freedoms away and say it's to stop inflation, the next pandemic. Let's just make it legislation that you can't buy things and end inflation. It's for the greater good!
Sounds like the great reset is going as planned.

End of the US Dollar? It's stronger than EUR and CAD. Not sure what you're getting at.WellThatAgedWell wrote: ↑Wed Jul 13, 2022 8:29 am![]()

The pandemic has passed and we are in the worst position we have seen in a long time! Some people get it right, some get it wrong!
Fuel prices are likely more affected by Putin's actions than by the pandemic responses.
As an AvCanada discussion grows longer:
-the probability of 'entitlement' being mentioned, approaches 1
-one will be accused of using bad airmanship

I think what is clear is government is always short sighted. Any problem they try to fix creates 3 more.
But when you are government problems are a good thing to have. Helps you control people as long as you convince the people they are the problem and government isn’t.
Watch as the lower middle class gets destroyed, all the non home owners will come out the other end of this with even less opportunity. How to lead like a liberal. But thank goodness we have Trudeau… maybe we can talk about CRT and other nut job topics as the ship sinks.
