Rouge vs Mainline

Post by aboveclouds »

How is Rouge compared to mainline in terms of QOL, training and future growth. Which one should a new hire bid for? Thanks for your time.

Rouge and Mainline are not different airlines.

Going forward, post contract the differences that do exist will be lessened so Rouge flying doesn't undermine Mainline jobs and pairing quality.

Don't base any decision on what currently exists in the contract language. It's about to change.

Its always changing but currently Rouge is doing more N-S routes to Florida, Caribbean, and some domestic short haul. Where as Mainline does more E-W domestic and US. Rouge seems to have more day turns vs longer pairings on Mainline. I would suggest bidding based on type but 320 seems to be a good bet either way for NB flying.
