Decent contract firms

Looking for decent contract firms. I’m sure they exist

I’ve been in the AME trade since 1990, predominantly M1 field but do have M2 but no endorsements. Extensive S work with some composites time. Lots of PT6 and recip experience, bush operations as well as heavy maintenance in small and large ac.

Signed up with several contract agencies but pay was what I was getting as a contractor 15 years ago.

I can work or not but not working for less or the same as I made then. I’m currently on leave from my other aviation job for a year.

I see a couple of users here mentioned they have contracting firms? Feel free to contact me for further discussion if you desire.

I hear you. Was in the same boat years ago before pulling the pin. I see most companies not even posting wages which is weird in itself but then I guess negotiating is still a thing. I haven’t dealt with any firms as of late but they are out there I am sure. Good luck.

The whole not posting wages is BS imop. If I was looking for a full time job I probably would not even apply if they don’t publish min and max wages/salary.

Yo, I just did my research, GSE tech makes more money than you people! The fact is, they are actually paying more to maintain the plane than the tug, but this money will have to be broken up to pay many people that makes up the bigger crew! Google it! Who would do this job if you could do the easy work for more! I should have been a GSE tech if this is how you would treat me! You see, nothing in this f*cking industry make any sense!

My argument is valid that there is a lack of opportunity in this industry because the industry is small, the job is too expensive to do, they give sh*tty schedule, and that it pays like sh*t from the start and for way too long! How about you compare this job to other jobs which I did? This job is ridiculous! Ofcourse if this is the case, do you think I would still be in it? People will die of famine before they could ever succeed at all! It's too f*cking hard to make money in this industry! Bro, you are still in this industry! The GSE do get it better and they get paid more! They start out more and their wage climb up faster to $45/hr or so in just 5 years! Inland Air is paying 100k/year base + 1 month paid vacation + health/dental. 9-5 m-f flexibility in work hours, never away from base. Easy work on a straight fleet of beavers. pretty good for M1
