Position Overview
Heli Source Ltd. is seeking a skilled and motivated Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining our fleet to the highest standards of airworthiness and reliability, supporting both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities in both base and field settings.
Key Responsibilities
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on company aircraft in accordance with manufacturer and Transport Canada standards.
Conduct inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting of airframes, engines, and systems.
Complete and maintain accurate documentation in maintenance tracking systems.
Participate in field deployments and support remote operations as required.
Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment and promote a safety-first culture.
Qualifications
Valid Transport Canada AME License (M1 and/or M2).
Experience with AS350 B2 / B3 and Bell206B is preferred.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment under varying conditions.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and ability to travel to remote locations.
Successful candidate will be required to provide a satisfactory Drivers Abstract for 3 years of driving history.
As part of any offer of employment, AMEs will be required to take a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Test and a Hearing Test.
Possession of current safety certifications (e.g. H2S Alive, First Aid) is an asset.
