1. pluck my ear hair?
2. "frost the tips" of my ear hair?
3. let grow into dreadlocks?

You ear hair is there for a reason, to prevent/trap crap from getting in there. So I wouldnt get rid of it altogether, but if it is out of control, maybe try trimming it down a little bit. This could be difficult though. But I have seen little hair trimmers being sold on infomercials which can be used to cut your ear hair.

I was just reading through some of the posts in question, and the more I read, the more it seems like hate literature. I'm pretty sure promoting hate is illegal in Canada...

Ok,

I think it's time for ALL you "Christians" to build yourselves another friggen Ark, and float on over to Greenland leaving the rest of us in peace. I hear it's really nice a couple weeks a year, so you can spend the rest of your time praying for better weather....

Wow, is this frightening.

It's not at all misleading to call him a "Moderate palestinian" because he is quite moderate in comparison.

Being a "moderate" and a "moderate arab" are two different things. Without the context of a subset within which it is being applied, the term "moderate" ceases to have any real meaning.

Without the context "moderate" could mean that the person in question is only moderately likely to molest a male goat in the next week.
Well done. That not only makes a lot of sense, it does so using a molested goat as an anology. I enjoyed.

What do hairy ears and goats have to do with the topic at hand, and for that matter - what does this topic have to do with anything? I'm perplexed.

Please be advised.

The religious right has created the image that evangelism is by definition anti-gay, anti-women, anti-environment, pro-war, pro-capital punishment but evangelical movement has been hijacked by the religious right.

In my own words, I would add the "Catholic faith" has been hijacked by all these other Christians. Do you know how many times I heard our Sunday homily/liturgy be preached on tv evangelist shows, a short time after our's was preached? Quite a few times.

Don't be too upset with them, they are not all the same.

Hebrews 12:18-19, 21-24
Psalm 48:2-4,9-11; Mark 6:7-13

Talk about idealism! Here is the author of Hebrews telling his readers that they have already come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to innumerable angels in festal gathering, and to the assembly of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven (Hebrews 12:22-23). Was he being serious? Or was he just using some ancient literary form of exaggeration to give his writing a dramatic effect?
Its possible that there is some exaggeration going on in this passage—but not much. After all, the Fathers of Vatican II wrote something very similar in 1963. In their Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy, they said that the Mass gives us a foretaste of that heavenly liturgy which is celebrated in the holy city of Jerusalem . . . where Christ is sitting at the right hand of God (Sacrosanctum Concilium, 8). So it must be true: Even now, on this earth, we can touch heaven—and we do so most powerfully when we gather to worship the Lord together.

Amazing, isnt it? We can put aside our cares, worries, and concerns right now and enter the throne room of heaven. Through his death and resurrection, Jesus has opened the doors, and we are free to come into his presence. Jesus, our great high priest, has made a new covenant with us, and he now welcomes us with open arms.

So why hesitate? Come, enter into your true home. Come to the altar and worship Jesus in union with Mary, the Mother of God, with the martyrs, the saints, and the myriad of angels who surround the throne of the Almighty. Come, enter into an intimate relationship with your Creator and your Redeemer. He is waiting for you. He longs to feed you, to teach you, and to reveal himself to you. Come and touch the splendor of Gods glory and experience your own heaven on earth!

Yes. Google Ads uses whatever the heck it is that is being discussed in the thread, and uses those terms to search for the appropriate ads to display. There have been a whole whack of religions ads displayed during this thread ... I guess the robots/spiders have caught onto the ear-hair debate too.

I think you are a little off base Chantel.
First of all the Lord you support said specifically ' call no man Father'?
So that leaves the popes with egg on their faces.
'He also said no man comes unto the Father except through me'- Not Mary! More egg.
Scripture says anyone teaching another Jesus is under a curse.More egg
The Cathoilics teach that the symbols of fellowship, the bread and wine are litterally His body- that is silly and non scriptual.eggs yet.
Peter is not the first Pope because he was not such a dope to be hijacked- though millions are.
Run, do not genoflect , to the nearest door :(

God CC your shit doesn't smell, does it? Have you ever been wrong before? Do you remember when it was? Isn't there a section about humility in your faith?

By the way, this is the Political and Humourous Section, not the Religious Claptrap and Nonsense site.

People, that goes for the Jewish, Muslim, Jane, Buddhist, Catholic and Nose-Hair Faiths too. Go ahead and enjoy them all, in the privacy of your homes and churches, but for 'GODS SAKE' do it without waving it about here!
