I must say I AM ONE HAPPY SON OF A BITCH TONIGHT.
Couldn't be a better game for the Prairie bowl.
Unfortunately it looks like by Bomobers are F$@KED next weekend now as
K. Glen left early in the fourth due to his arm possible being broken.
However we won't go down without a fight,
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMBERS!!!!

Okay I'm going to go out on a limb here and say "one man a team does not make".
Bombers 24
Riders 17
I think they are going to be good enough, lots of other talent and if the O line can push the D line as well as they did against Toronto it going to make for a memorable Grey Cup.

Won't argue that the QB is a pivotal position, particularly if your passing offense relays on timing patterns, quick releases and receiver tendency. That said Dinwiddie's a pro QB that has been on the roster for more than a season and he knows the schemes, he's been charting and involved all season. Not a lot of full speed, real time play but none the less he's a Pro and I believe good enough to get the job done. There actually may be a bit of an advantage in having a fresh face behind the center. There is very little game film for the Riders to breakdown and other than all the rest of the offensive talent there is a large unknown for them to come up with defensive scheme. If you compare talent against talent on both sides of the ball the balance tips towards the Bombers. The Riders are riding an emotional high, grit will only carry you so far and I think they have taken that horse about as far they can. I think the biggest advantage the Riders bring to this game is in the field goal department...which in a tight defensive game could prove to be the Bombers undoing. I still like the Bombers chances, They have a lot to play for now...Glenn, Stegal, Westwood and couple of veteran O linemen that are at the end of their careers. The odds makers will put to much stock in the loss of Glenn and the Rider's might as well...

I won't discount the Bombers at all. Everyone did that to us going into B.C calling us the underdogs dispite our stats being evenly matched. But they have done that to Saskatchewan all year long dispite us consitantly putting wins on the board. No matter what it's going to be a wild game and flights to Toronto out of Regina and Saskatoon are already sold out. On the radio they said Air Canada apparantly wants to soak a guy $2500 to go to Toronto where as the sold out WestJet flights were $500 I had no desire to go to Toronto because I want to be here where the real party will be! They should make next monday a provincial stat. It's going to be a good time

WOW, your argument there just made me change my mind, i'm now going to root for the leafs, they deserve it cause there fan support deserves it.app flap wrote:Riders all the way, I don't care what you say - the people of Saskatchewan deserve it for the amount of support the Roughriders get from their fans.
Also, the Blue Bombers are lame... and Troy Westwood is even lamer, cut your hair... you look like an idiot.
Pls, If you base it on the fans, all the teams in the league deserve it. In fact I'd say the tiger-cats deserve it the most, last game of the year 2 degrees, rain and wind, And the place STILL has 16K+ fans in the stands. Those are the so CALLED fans that deserve it.

I've heard that the Blue & Gold had a decent turn-out at the airport when they returned, I doubt it was a big as the Riders...Rider fans are rabid.
I built my "Bomber Alter" in front of my TV on Sunday morning, candles and all and won't let the flames go out until the final gun next Sunday. This is going to be fun...You just can't pick a better rivalry, its one that I've been hoping for ever since Winnipeg got positioned as an "eastern" team. I'm almost in a no lose situation for me, although I'm a true Bomber fan my second choice has always been the Riders. The Riders have never strayed from the style of football I love...smashmouth! That history goes back to the George Reed days...off tackle, head down for 5 or 6 repeat play until they can stop it!

Simple to explain. There are no CFL teams in the "East".Dust Devil wrote:Not bad ratings for the finals. I find it strange that Eastern Canada with such a large population had such low numbers compared to the West.
Toronto? That'd be central Canada.
Montreal? You are getting warmer....
That and the folks from down east will keep on watching "real" football and cheer the PATRIOTS!
